Day 3: Madrid - Bilbao
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today, you will go on a guided visit of El Prado Museum to admire the spectacular work of the most internationally renowned Spanish painters: Velázquez and Goya.
After, take a stroll on Parque de El Retiro and see the Cristal Palace.
Enjoy lunch at the Mercado de San Miguel.
Alfter, board your private motor coach and travel to Bilbao.
Check-in at your hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up.
In the evening, head on a waking tour of the Old Quarter and have a fantastic dinner at Aizian restaurant, where you will try different types of cod: “cod pil-pil, vizcaina…” and their delicious creamy blue cheese tart with quince.
Return to your hotel for overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Bilbao
After breakfast at your hotel, your Imagine Tour Manger will take you to the Guggenheim Museum. Discover the building designed by Frank O. Gehry, an iconic 20th-century architectural work.
Later, visit the Mercado de la Ribera.
For lunch, put your palate to the test with some “pinxtos” a special and tasty snack typical of the Basque Country in la Calle García Rivero.
Free time to relax and why not, go shopping!
Tonight, enjoy dinner at a refined and cozy restaurant overlooking the river.
Return to your hotel for night accommodation.
Day 5: Bilbao - Winery of Txakoli - San Sebastián
After breakfast at your hotel, head on a visit to the Txakoli Merrutxu Winery, located in the nature reserve of Urdabai. You will learn about the process of making “txakoli wine”, the typical Basque Country sparkling wine. Visit the vineyards and have a wine pairing with Txakoli and products of the region.
Later, continue your travel to San Sebastian.
Upon arrival check in to your hotel and take some time to rest.
In the afternoon, meet your local guide for a walking tour of the city, the port and the center. Visit the Catedral del Buen Pastor (neogothic XIX century style), the Church of San Vicente (Gothic XVI century style) and the Church of Santa Maria (Barroc XVI century style).
Dinner in local restaurant right in the heart of town. San Sebastian is the city in Spain that has the most Michelin starred ranking in the world and the third after Paris.
Return to your hotel for night accommodation in San Sebastian.
Day 6: San Sebastian
After breakfast at your hotel, head on a walking tour with your Imagine Tour Manager to El Paseo de la Concha, arrive at the “Peine de los Vientos”, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views of Isla Santa Clara, the Concha Beach and Ondarreta.
Later visit El Kursal, home of San Sebastián International Film Festival, one of the most important cinema festivals in the world and the Gros Beach.
See San Sebastian through the eyes of a gastronome as you visit the local producers, taste their unique cheeses and sample olive oils in a specialty market stand. Head to the Old Town culinary studio and roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking class. Pair the dishes with Basque and Spanish wines and enjoy your own “pintxos” creation.
Free time to relax and enjoy some shopping through San Sebastian´s beautiful and elegant shops.
In the evening, enjoy dinner in a renovated farmhouse terrace on the outskirts of the city. A place that boasts one of Spain’s best wine cellars.

Day 7: San Sebastian - Zarautz - Getaria
After breakfast at the hotel, board your private motor coach and drive along the coast, head for the fishing villages Zarautz and Getaria. This last village was the home to the designer Balenciaga and the explorer Juan Sebastian Elcano.
Enjoy lunch at Elkano restaurant overlooking the sea.
Aftewards, return to your hotel in San Sebastian and have a rest.
Spend the evening mingling with locals as you hit up the best “pintxos” bars in town, pairing small bites with local libations.

Day 8: San Sebastian - La Rioja - Laguardia
After breakfast at the hotel, depart by private motor coach to La Rioja. The enclave of vineyards of La Rioja is splendid and depending on the time of year, their crops will present a violet or yellow color, fused with the green of nature. In the middle of this vinyards you can see the beautiful architecture of Bodegas Ysios, famous work of the Spanish architec Santiago Calatrava.
Upon arrival in La Rioja, check-in to your hotel in Laguardia take some time to rest and freshen up.

Later, walk through the village of La Guardia. The walls about 2 meters high, surround the village and it´s narrow streets gives the place a special charm.
Dinner at a local restaurant “lamb chops with vine shoots”. The lamb baked with vine branches is typical of the area of Rioja and Navarra.
Return to your hotel for night accommodation in Laguardia.
Day 9: Madrid - USA
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Madrid International airport.
